LITTLE ANGLERS DIVISION - OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES:

Please read all official tournament rules and regulations prior to signing entry form and/or participating in the tournament (s).

GUIDELINES:

The Little Anglers Division consist of four species categories in which anglers ages twelve and under may win prizes: BASS CRAPPIE CATFISH PERCH

The top three largest bass, crappie, catfish and perch each day will determine the Little Anglers Division winners for that tournament day. Prizes will be awarded each day at 2:30pm

No child may win more than one place overall each day. (For Example: If a child has the 2nd largest catfish and the 3rd largest perch, he/she would be awarded the 2nd place prize in the catfish category only. This allows more children opportunities to win awards.)

ELIGIBILITY:

Participants must be 12 years of age or younger at the time of the tournament to compete and win prizes. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to insure the eligibility of the child entered.

All participants must be able to land their own fish.

No one other than paid contestants or tournament officials are permitted in a competitors boat during tournament hours.

Tournament officials have the right to refuse ANY ENTRY.

All State & Federal penal code laws shall apply at all times.

All State, Coast Guard, Federal Parks & Wildlife regulations shall apply at all times.

REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEE:

Entry form with complete entry fee must be received before fishing. Entry fee: $10 Per Day.

No checks accepted after the deadline date specified for each tournament; cash only at specified registration locations, as well as, at tournament venue.

Contestants may pick up their official tournament packets at registration locations. No packets will be mailed.

NO REFUND OR SUBSTITUTION OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY REASON.

PERMITTED FISHING AREAS & HOURS:

Official weigh-in time begins at 6AM and ends at 12 NOON of official tournament day. Fish must be caught on Tournament Lake between 6AM and 12NOON of official tournament day. No casting until 6AM; official time will be kept by tournament officials and announced by official radio station.

Children may fish with live bait or artificial lures.

Bank fishing is permissible.

Little Angler(s) are also allowed to fish from a boat or ride in a boat, however, each person in the boat must be a paid contestant of that McDonalds Big Bass Splash tournament.

WEIGH IN SPORTSMANSHIP AND CONSERVATION:

Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation are expected from every participant and their guardian.

All fish weighed in will become the property of the Tournament and will be released back into the lake each tournament day alive if possible.

All fish weighed in must be of legal length for Tournament Lake.

All fish must be brought to weigh in station in weigh in bag with water.

Only one fish may be brought through the weigh in line at a time and all fish weighed in become the property of the tournament to be released back into the lake as soon as possible.

No contestant may weigh in more than three fish per day total, and only one fish may be weighed at a time.

The contestant who originally caught the fish must weigh in fish and it must be in said contestants physical possession in the weigh-in line.

A parent or guardian must accompany contestants at the time of weigh in. The last official weigh in will end each day at 12 Noon.
